Chapel Farm, Gislingham

We advised Power of Attorneys in relation to a site at Gislingham, Suffolk from 2007 onwards having acted for the landowner previously.

The site was the location of a game processing plant together with a residence, a former chapel and circa 3 acres of agricultural land. The site was beginning to fall into a state of disrepair as the owner was in a care home and thus the attorney’s needed advice and guidance as to how best to realise the asset for the landowner. Planning permission was obtained for 24 new residential homes on appeal. We were then instructed to market the site for sale which culminated in the site being sold to a developer. Finally we assisted the developer in selling a good proportion of the properties once the site had been developed out.

Below we highlight three stages of this involvement in 2007, 2015 and 2017.
