TW Gaze is proud to support a number of events around the region.
We are delighted to be helping out at the Star Throwers Charity ball again on the 26th November 2022 at Barnham Broom. Mike Sarson will once again weald the gavel at the auction part of the evening with lots ranging from axe throwing lessons to a Lotus factory tour. Star Throwers is an excellent local charity based in Wymondham who provide individually focused support for cancer patients and their carers.
In June 2022 Staff member Hannah Wilby took part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5k for Cancer Research.

Also during Summer 2022, Staff Member Ed Smith took part in a charity bike ride for a fantastic local Cancer charity called ‘Little Lifts’ - Biking 320 miles around Norfolk whilst visiting 65 streams to go wild swimming or to dip a toe or two in. The money raised by the Sit In A Stream team will help go toward the ambitious target of helping 5000 people during 2022. Each ‘Little Lifts’ Box is full of items carefully selected by people who have gone through chemotherapy or radiotherapy to provide practical support, as well as mood-boosting goodies to promote emotional wellbeing – but it isn’t just what’s inside the box that provides support. Recipients tell them that the sense of solidarity and kindness they experience is equally valuable.
In 2021 we were raising money for Movember, to help raise awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. We would be grateful for any donation from our friends, relatives and valued customers to encourage us to keep growing our various forms of finely groomed tashes!

In 2021 we were remembering our friend and former colleague the late Jeffrey Bowles at a memorial race dedicated to him at the Waveney Harriers Point to Point at Heigham on 21 November.
On the 13th-15th August 2021 Auction Room Staff Member Robbie Kinsella, his wife Katie, Ryan Doubleday and four others took on the three peaks of Ben Nevis (1345m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1085m), to try and raise funds for Nature & Nurture - a local group which offers mental health and support for teenagers so that they are able to take the kids on some day trips. TW Gaze sponsored James Wilby, son of staff member Lesley and husband to staff member Hannah on The Big Golf Race for Prostate Cancer. He took part in four rounds of golf in one day, equalling a marathon. He sent us this photo of his team on the Green.
In May 2021, TW Gaze sponsored James Dinwiddy of Birketts Solicitors on a 25 Mile walk in aid for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. He sent us this after photo…. From jolly to bedraggled in 25 easy miles.
We have conducted all of Norwich City's major art trial events with GoGo Hares in aid of Break being most recent. Our Auctioneers regularly compère and sell at fundraising events; Glitter Ball in Ipswich in aid of EACH – 8 lots made £4175 including Ed Sheeran Sweaty hoodie sold for £420, The Purple Ball for ‘End Polio Now organised by Diss and Harleston Lions - 6 lots made £1690 incl. David McGoldrick signed Ipswich Town shirt made £180, Build Charity 50th Anniversary Ball - 7 lots made £3760 (Signed Norwich City Shirt made £300)
Norfolk and Norwich Festival Gala with 6 lots made £9310 (Boat race VIP passes and trip in launch behind boats made £3400)

in 2018 we held Purple Day accross our business to support the Epilepsy Society.
Also, our design team produce programmes and leaflets for a number of local events. (Diss Organ Festival, Hethersett Dog Show, Wymondham Young Farmers Pantomime programme 2016,17 & 18 and will be producing the 2019 contribution etc.)
And our valuation team are active in the local community every year with valuation days on behalf of good causes.

In August 2022, Auction Rooms Director, Elizabeth Talbot MRICS was the Charity Auctioneer for the Samaritans 50th celebration and helped to raise £5,800 for the charity.
