Plant Auction
The most glorious summer conditions heralded the return to public onsite auctions with our first pop-up plant sale.
The sale, conducted by auctioneer Ed Taxil-Webber, featured a range of seasonal plants, shrubs and trees and was greeted by competitive bidding across the crowd who had patiently waited since March for the return of live auctions. With Café 1857 back in operation via its new take away service it was great to see so many familiar faces and realise that "normality" may not be too far away.
The next pop up plant auction is Monday 29 June.
