Plant Auction, Monday 15 June

We are delighted to announce our first live on-site event since March, appropriately in the form of our Plants & Shrubs auction. This sale will take place at 2pm on Monday 15 June at the Diss Auction Rooms as part of our rejuvenation.

The sale will have a familiar feel to our longstanding customers as it will be delivered fresh on the day of the sale by our regular plant supplier and then laid out on our front car park for viewing. The site will be open to customers between 10am and 2pm, with maximum space ensured on our large auction site. Bids may be left with the auctioneer before the sale, but all successful purchases must be cleared by close of business on the same day.

Alternatively, we would love to see you bidding in person from one of our well spaced-out bidding stations. Visitors to the auction rooms before lockdown will be aware of some of our other control methods including queuing to pay via contactless payments or queuing to get a take-out coffee from our Café. The Auction Rooms staff will be in attendance to guide you through your shopping experience and Café 1857 will be open for light takeaway refreshments. We hope you can help us develop the safest auction environment available.

The following Monday and Tuesday, 22 & 23 June, we will be holding carefully controlled public viewing days, 10am – 4pm, in the Blyth Barn for our timed Furniture auction which closes on 24 June. With the shutters up and our one-way viewing system we are confident this will be a strong start to our commitment to continue all the great things about Diss Auction Rooms alongside many new aspects we are introducing.

We look forward to engaging with you at one of these events, or at one of the many others we are planning throughout July and the rest of the year, as the situation dictates.
