Charity Auction incl. work by Sir Antony Gormley
We are delighted to be conducting an auction on Thursday 6 July at 7.30pm, on behalf of designermakersCIO charity.
There are some wonderful donations; not least an original artwork from Sir Antony Gormley, also a bronze sculpture by Laurance Edwards, framed paintings by Martin Laurance,an artwork by Maz Jackson, hand-printed work by Nicola Slattery and many more
designermakersCIO charity was established to promote, improve and advance the education in, and appreciation of the arts, through the facilitation and management of workshops and training courses in different design and craft skills. The charity is raising funds as part of their Save Our Story appeal to purchase their home at 21 St Nicholas Street, Diss in order to continue to provide education in contemporary and traditional crafts, for Diss, the wider community of South Norfolk and beyond.
The items will be on view on Thursday 6 July from 1-7pm with the evening auction getting underway at 7.30pm
