Fees and Payment Methods

Buyers Premium (Fees)

Unless otherwise stated, all sales conducted by TW Gaze carry a Buyer’s Premium of 26.4% (Inc. VAT). For example, if the hammer price is £25, the total price payable would be £31.60 

Payments

Payment and collection of all purchases is required on the day of sale or, if purchased by a remote bid, immediately upon advice of your purchase. Once payment has been made, collection of the items can then be made.

Methods of Payment

Cash

Payment by cash enables collection of lots immediately after payment. Cash payments in excess of £5,000 are not accepted.

Cheque

Cheques will be cleared before collection of goods, or a Bank Reference supplied before the goods are collected.

Credit Cards

We accept Visa and Mastercard payments onsite.

Debit Cards

We accept Debit card payments onsite. 

Remote Payments

Online Bank Transfers

Overseas payments and large transactions require settlement by Online bank transfer. Please include your name and buyers number with your instructions to your bank, and send to:

International bank transfers

Clients transferring money from accounts registered outside the UK will be liable to pay a fixed £12 handling charge. This covers any bank fees incurred during the transfer and should be added to any your invoice total at point of payment.

Accounts not paid within 14 days will automatically be subject to an interest charge of 5% above Barclays Bank base rate from the day of sale.

Online Card Payments

Online card payments up are available using a link on your e-mailed invoice.

Please confirm by email who will be acting as your agent and we will make an appointment for them to collect. They will need your details including buyer's number and the sale date(s) when arriving for the appointment. 

V.A.T.

Lots in the catalogues with a symbol "inc" are sold inclusive of VAT in the hammer price. Your invoice will show you all VAT charges.
