Mary Adelaide Walker: 'Through Macedonia to the Albanian Lakes', London, Chapman & Hall, 1864, 1st edition, 12 litho plates (four coloured, eight tinted) as called for, contemporary prize crimson Morocco binding gilt, (worn, top board detached but present, part losses of back strip) all edges gilt. Mrs Walker made several tours during the 1860s through what is Now Northern Greece, Albania, North Macedonia & Serbia, having joined her brother, British chaplain in Constantinople, around 1856, she remained in the East over 40 years
