A circa 1800 Japanese Yari of short form, unsigned with shallow koshi-hi (groves that are short). This yari has three sides and measures 106mm from the tip to the iron collar. Each face is 16mm wide. It is mounted on a shortened pole with an iron collar, two iron rings and cord binding. The bottom part of the pole was sawn off and has a rusted iron butt cap.
